Freezer Paper Stenciled T-Shirts

I love making gifts that are personalized...

My little guy is learning how to write...
btw the little man isn't mad, I caught him off guard :)
So naturally, as a gifted and efficient multi-tasker - I decided to combine the two!

I've made stencils from freezer paper before for random holiday shirts, but this version with my little guy's handwriting is classic... and adorable. What a special, personalized gift (not to mention a very inexpensive gift). The shirts were on sale for $3 and the puffy paint was less than a dollar. I used puffy paint because it made the art stand out and my son thought it was so neat.

Here's the shirt my little guy made for Daddy:

and here's one he made for his little cousin:

Since there's tons of great tutorials on freezer paper stencils, I see no need to re-create the wheel per se. So check out this tutorial on freezer paper stencils. It's so easy! Make one today!

Awesome! How did you cut around his lettering so perfectly? Or am I reading the tutorial wrong? Still Awesome!

you just tape the freezer paper to a cutting board and use and exacto knife :) The Exacto knife is pretty precise, you just have to cut slowly.
