I was organizing my craft supplies today and came across some glitter buttons. Then I glanced over at my jar of cabochons. I thought to myself, "Hmmm, I need some earrings, I bet these glittery, girly craft goodies would make some unique and stellar earrings!"
So this is what I came up with. I think they're simple and fun and sort of vintage looking. I have several pictures of my Grandmother from the 1960's where she wore round earrings similar to these.
Keep reading for instructions.
Here we go. Super simple, but I'll walk you through it anyway.
Supplies:
Glitter Buttons (or any flat button you like)
Cabochons
Earring Posts and Backs
D-6000 Glue
See those glitter buttons? Clearance baby! E-6000 is awesome glue!
Glue your cabochons on your button, covering the holes. Allow to dry.
Glue posts to back of glitter button. Allow to dry. Then put them on your ears for a pop of color and sparkle! Super Cute. I guarantee you will be complements!
While you're at it, make some hair pins too!
Cheers,
Melissa
