Jeweled Bug Hair Things

I had some bugs left over from my Gaudy Halloween Wreath. I thought, "Hmm. Let me doll them up with some rhinestones and make hair clips." So I did. I simply glued rhinestones on for eyes then glued the fancy bug to a bobby pin or clip. I think they're going to look super cute in my hair for Halloween - an unexpected little hair decoration is always nice.

Roaches (the FAKE ones) are fun all year long. The Mister and Missus pictured below are certainly ready to whoop it up Halloween night. I just glued a plain ol' cheap bobby pin to the underside. Perfect for tucking into a messy updo.

I couldn't stop there. I also had some eyeballs left from my wreath. So I hot glued them to an old barrette I had. I also used some googly eyes as a filler. This piece is just a train-wreck of cluttered gaudiness.

Dollar store items come to the rescue again. Grab $2, head up to your local Dollar Store and make some of these. You'll surely get noticed on Halloween. If someone slaps you in the back of the head trying to kill the roach or spider - don't blame me.
