I try to live simply which works well with my minimalist nature. I despise clutter. Although with two kids and a pack rat hubby, I'm often surrounded by it.

I'm inspired daily by my children. They live for the moment and the here and now. They're not afraid to fail and go full speed towards what makes them happy. My children are inspiring, yes, but also totally exhausting. Gotta keep it real. It's not always rainbows and lollipops in our house.

I love my children and hubby without limits. I'll stay up late for weeks to finish a homemade gift for a loved one.

I'm Christian. I'm wife to my hubby Mr. J. I'm Mom to two great little people - Bubbies (4 years) and Pink Crayon (9 months).
I’ve always required a creative outlet and I’ve been crafting and making things for as long as I remember. I was gifted my first sewing machine at the age of 10. I would make clothes for my Cabbage Patch and Barbie Dolls sans patterns. I refinished my first set of furniture (a 6-piece bedroom suit) at the age of 13.
I'm more than just the roles I'm blessed to fill in my little family. My style is eclectic and continuously evolving. I’m a fan of change and am not afraid to think outside the box (or create outside of the box).

I don’t even try to balance things. I just try to keep the chaos to a minimum.
[My likes]
Random Humor – I find odd things intensely hilarious. My own sense of humor is not so squeaky clean (when the kids aren’t around). Nothing feels as good as an uncontrollable laugh.
Vintage Costume Jewelry – I adore it for its uniqueness and gaudy-factor.
Baking – I love to bake (if someone else is doing the clean-up) but I could do without cooking.
Scary Movies – the silly teeny-bopper kind (Scream, the original Halloween, etc.). I could totally do without ever watching a “chick-flick”. I’ve yet to watch Titanic or The Notebook and I plan on keeping it that way.
Holidays – I love everything about them. The family gathering. The food. The decorating. I make a big deal about celebrating birthdays and milestones of my loved ones. These things are important. Don’t wait to show someone how you feel. Not to be a “Debbie Downer” but you just never know what’s around the bend. So celebrate!!
